![]() Soul Calibur 6 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19 in North America. Armor break, Guard Impact, and Critical Edge also return with some changes. Soul Calibur 6 introduces new mechanics like Reversal Edge which is a single button input that slows down both players and forces them into a one-on-one rock, paper, scissors like mechanic. The series, which began as a story about fighters from around the world hunting a mysterious blade called the Soul Edge, kind of got progressively whacky as the games went on. Soul Calibur 6 is retelling, sort-of reboot of the first Soul Calibur game bringing characters back to their original incarnations, but different in ways that we've yet to see. The sixth main Soul Calibur game has so far only introduced two new characters one of which is the guest character Geralt from The Witcher series. SS into CR.Voldo is the 13th returning character to Soul Calibur 6 following famous characters like Nightmare, Kilik, Ivy Valentine, Taki, Yoshimitsu, and more. LH once per match after successfully evading with A+KĪnti-air. This introduction was purpose by Skeiider The bond between him and his master was unbreakable. On his return to the Money Pit, he reported to his master, whose words of appreciation made the loyal Voldo proud and even momentarily joyful. While he was able to retrieve Vercci’s notes, he found out that Soul Edge had been destroyed. Doggedly he pursued her, until eventually they met. But that wasn’t the only reason for his departure: the woman emitted the same aura as Soul Edge. Prioritizing their return, Voldo left the pit once more. She did, however, manage to escape with one of Vercci’s most prized items: his notes. One of these marauders was a woman wielding a strange weapon, Ivy, whom Voldo just about succeeded in holding at bay. Voldo did his best to make repairs, but invaders attacked before he could finish. During that time, a great storm flooded part of the pit, causing extensive damage, and many of its traps were destroyed. Voldo left the Money Pit for a short period to search for his master’s most desired treasure: Soul Edge, the ultimate weapon. Having lived in the pit since the death of his master, he had lost his eyesight, but still continued to deal out cruel punishments to any who dared to attempt to steal his master’s valuables. In addition to numerous traps, it was guarded by a character wielding strange weapons: Vercci’s former right-hand man, Voldo. Naturally, such fortune attracted the attention of more than a handful of thieves, but the Money Pit was not without the protection. It was created as a place to horde the magnificent treasures collected by Vercci, a weapons dealer. The Money Pit was an expansive, deep hole in the middle of an island in the ocean. In Soulcalibur V’s promotional material he is referred to as He Who Is Bound By Blind Allegiance. Thus, making him reliant on his senses and only being able to make grunting, groaning and hissing noises. Voldo remains one of the most well known and popular characters in the series due to his unique playstyle and disturbing appearance. He is one of the few characters to have been present in every version (either arcade or home) of almost all of the games in the series in the main series, he, Siegfried, Mitsurugi, Nightmare and Cervantes are the only characters to have appeared in every installment. Later, in the sequel, Soulcalibur, he gained many of his staple moves and traits that would later stay in his reappearance during following games Soulcalibur II, Soulcalibur III and Soulcalibur IV. Voldo first appeared in Soul Edge, offering the first insights of his unpredictable play style and mannerisms. Voldo made his first appearance in Soul Blade and has returned for all the following sequels. Voldo (ヴォルド, Vorudo) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games.
